Greetings.
Many of you are wondering why there have been so few postings during the last few months.
I’d like to explain.
When I went off on the first part of the Great Adventure, I packed light and instead of taking a laptop with me, took my Mini Ipad. I thought I could post as usual to this site since I could utilize browsers.
I quickly learned trying to post photos or links was a major problem and would take numerous tries.
When I returned and started packing for part 2 of the journey, I decided to ditch the Mini Ipad and take my laptop instead.
However, a few days before my trip, my laptop developed software problems. I spent hours on the phone with tech support but to no avail. I couldn’t get it to respond.
With not enough time to get a new laptop and set it up, I was forced, once again, to travel with my Mini Ipad.
I got back to the U.S. last night and will be at OBOW World Headquarters next week. I plan to buy a new laptop and get it set up.
Hopefully, by the beginning of next year, I will be posting on a more frequent basis. The more I post, the more readers will show and both this area and the reader’s forum should pick up.
Thanks for your patience.
One other thing….occassionally I have items I want to mention that don’t necessarily warrant a full blog post. Instead, I will utilize our Twitter feed. If you don’t want to use Twitter, no problem. If you go to the right side of this page, you will see a box marked “Twitter Feeds” where you can read them.
For those still using RSS, we have RSS feeds for postings I make as well as new entries in our Reader’s Forum. You can also sign up for those on the right side of this page.
We also have a Facebook page and any posting I make will also show up there. (Sorry, the discussions don’t.) I’ll let you guess where you will find the link to sign up. (There is a pattern going on.)
